PROTECTION FROM WATER

Our earplugs are designed to keep dirty water out of ear canal during Swimming and water sports. Dirty water can cause ‘Swimmers ear” (Ear infections) From ear, these can spread to sinus [Sinusitis] and throat (Tonsillitis, Laryngitis & Pharyngitis) and Lungs (Bronchitis & Pneumonia ) if not properly treated. Earplugs are not recommended for diving below 10 ft.

PROTECTION FROM WIND

Ears are very sensitive. When exposed to cold wind, ears start aching. The situation is aggravated If there in even mild infection in ears. During cold winters people are advised to protect ears during their morning walk or other times.
During Motorcycle ride ears are exposed to wind and noise. There are number of reports about permanent hearing damage caused by wind during Motorcycle rides. Earplugs are an inexpensive device to protect against wind in normal outings or Motorcycle rides.

PROTECTION FROM NOISE

Noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) can be caused by a onetime exposure to an intense impulse sound such as explosion or continuous exposure to loud sounds over an extended period of time. Sound is measured in units called Decibels. Less than 80 Decibels are unlikely to cause any damage to hearing. However, long and repeated exposure to sounds above that can cause damage. An exposure to Db 85 plus can cause long term damage in varying degrees depending on the duration and intensity of exposure..

Maximum Daily Exposure
